Nöffe Terms of Service

Nöffe Privacy Policy

Hi! First of all, thank you for downloading the Nöffe app. We encourage you to read the agreement carefully. Should any questions arise, do not hesitate to contact us at save@noffe.no. In addition to the terms of use, we recommend that you read our privacy statement.

The terms are accepted by clicking "I accept these terms" when you use the app for the first time.
The app is provided by Nöffe AS. All references to "we" and "us" in the following refer to Nöffe AS.

1. About Nöffe
Nöffe is a physical and digital version of the old piggy bank. Through Nöffe, we want to offer an easy and fun way for children to save money. Nöffe is connected to a bank account through the Nöffe app. Via the app, you can, among other things, connect the piggy bank to a bank account in an optional bank to get the balance from this on Nöffe, make payments from the app to the piggy bank and easily keep track of all transactions. 2. User account and authentication
The following conditions must be met in order for you to use the service
*You must be at least 15 years old
*You must have a Norwegian birth number
*You must have a receiving account and sender account in a Norwegian bank
*You must have a cell phone
Before you use Nöffe piggy bank, you must download the app, create a user profile and identify yourself. We use BankID to ensure that no unauthorized person has access to your transaction history.



3. Personal code - PIN
In the registration process you choose a personal four digits-PIN. Nöffe may refuse to use certain number combinations as a PIN code.
Nöffe is a service for personal use and you must never give access to the app or PIN code to others. It is your responsibility to keep the code private.



4.Connection of bank accounts
To be able to view balances in the app and on the piggy bank Nöffe, you must connect to a debit account. You can change this at any time under settings in the app.

You can change this at any time under settings in the app. In order to make payments, the amount transferred must be available in the account. The transfer takes place immediately but it can take several hours before the money appears in the recipient's account.



5. Link sharing
By sharing a payment link in the app to friends and family in your contact list, you use the recipient's telephone number. The recipient will receive the payment link in an SMS, Whatsapp message or other available form of communication. You can change the content of the message that comes with the link. By clicking on the link, the recipient will have access to a payment area where you can transfer an optional amount to the sender's account number. The transfer takes place immediately, but it can take several hours before the money appears in the account.


6. Maintenance and correction of errors
The app may become temporarily unavailable due to errors or maintenance. Scheduled maintenance will be notified in advance. We will correct all errors as soon as possible, but we can not guarantee a specific correction time.


7. Termination
You can terminate your user account at any time. However, an active user account is a prerequisite for Nöffe to work. Bank data including transactions and balance is only mirrored from the bank you have chosen, upon termination of the user account with Nöffe, your banking relationship will continue and you can terminate the agreement with the bank if applicable. If you close your user account, the money transferred to Nöffe will still be available in the bank account that has been connected to Nöffe.
All personal information and other information you have stored in the app will be deleted if you close the user account and delete the app from your phone.



8. Personal information
We will process personal information about you in connection with your use of the app. The information is largely information you provide when you register in the Nöffe app and / or via our website. You can read more about how we process your personal information in our privacy statement.

9. Links to other websites
In the app you will find links to other websites that are not owned by us. We do not take responsibility for the content of these websites.


10. Rights
We own all the rights to all products and services marketed under the brand Nöffe. This includes, but is not limited to, the concept, design, trademark, copyright and other intellectual property rights.
As a user of the app, you are given a free right to use the app, limited to the functions that are made available to you at any time. Your limited use of the app does not give you the right to modify, reproduce, copy or imitate the software.
We will make regular updates to the app. Such updates do not necessarily include all the features that were available in the original release.



11. Changes to the terms
If we update these terms, you will be notified in advance with a 45-day deadline to accept the terms. If you do not accept the updated terms within 45 days, we may terminate your user account. However, you will have the opportunity to have all your personal information and other data transferred before the account is deleted.


12. Complaint
We encourage you to contact us if there is anything you are dissatisfied with. You also have the opportunity to complain to the Consumer Council, see https://www.forbrukerradet.no/klageguide/.

1 Customer information
In connection with the purchase of Nöffe, our customers are asked to provide us with the following personal information:
- Full name
- Address
- Payment information (bank card) (not stored by us)
- Phone number
- Email address
- Order number
- Purchase history

 

We retain customer information for five years in accordance with the storage obligation pursuant to the Accounting Act § 13. In the event of outstanding amounts or other disputes with the customer, we may store the personal information until the dispute is finally settled in court.

2 User information
In connection with your use of the Nöffe app, we collect and process the following information about you:

- Full name - so we can get in touch with you
- Social security number -
through BankID on mobile, we ensure that only you have access to account information
- Address - so we can get in touch with you
- Email address - so we can get in touch with you
- Phone number - so we can get in touch with you
- Bank account number - to connect the correct bank account to Nöffe.
- Transactions on bank account number - to provide account information in the app and on Nöffe
- Sender and recipient of transactions - to provide save statistics in the App and on Nöffe
- Interactions on Nöffe on snout - to develop better user interface
- Wifi name, password and history - to connect Nöffe automatically
- Child's name (optional) - to remember which account belongs to whom
- Date of birth (optional) - so that we can adapt the user experience to the child's age
- Battery status on Nöffe - so we can remind you to charge Nöffe
- User statistics - so that we can develop the app and the product

- This app collects location data to enable identification of your Nöffe device* when the app is closed or not in use. (*Nöffe is a hardware device which this app is  communicating with - for more info go to www.noffe.no)  The location information is used to collect the wifi name of your Nöffe device and connect to its wifi network.
